Benefits Civic Clubs

PEP Fellow starts Rotary Club in Volgograd,

What if there was an international service project which could
make a big difference in the world while energizing the civic club,
its members and the community? The Productivity Enhancement Program
(PEP) is just that project.
For 11 years, over 500 civic clubs nationwide have participated
in PEP, allowing these clubs to do exactly what they are organized
to do: make a difference in the world while generating excitement
in the club and its community.
Most important to civic clubs, PEP is a fantastic vehicle for service.
Like most civic-minded projects, PEP makes the world a better place.
Its focus on ordinary Russian citizens who are struggling to improve
their lives, allows PEP to dovetail with the goals and mission of
most civic clubs. PEP’s depth and scope of influence on Russian
and American participants is enormous.

The positive effect on the club and the community excites clubs
that have hosted PEP. There are hundreds of stories of clubs who,
through their PEP involvement, have seen membership increase, club
morale improve, and the impact on their community grow in many positive
ways. The publicity that comes from hosting a delegation of Russian
business people raises the awareness of the good work that civic
clubs do in their communities.
