From the beginning in 1983, CCI’s mission has been to bring about change on a global scale the world by leveraging citizen-to-citizen activity. The Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP) exemplifies that mission. For over 11 years, PEP has had direct, visible, measurable effect on the lives of thousands of people in Russia and America. By changing lives, one-by-one, PEP is helping to change the world.

PEP has enhanced the development of a thriving market economy in Russia. With a free market comes opportunity. With opportunity comes empowerment. With empowerment comes the ability to make significant and lasting change across Russia.

Over 25,000 of American volunteers have had the opportunity to participate in PEP. Those who have hosted and trained Russian delegates can say that they have had a hand in ensuring that Russia continues on the path from a dangerous U.S. enemy to a more democratic global partner for America.
